Peru at a glance – South-South and Triangular Cooperation Country Project
The Factsheet provides an overview of the SSTC Country Project in Peru in 2022 as part of the joint MARA-WFP Global SSTC Initiative. WFP’s Global Field Pilot Initiative on SSTC in Peru focused on two main challenges, namely the need to support smallholder farmers to sell their products into public social protection programmes as well as in ensuring that they obtain a national certificate that identify them as family farmers producers.

The Factsheet provides an overview of the SSTC Country Project in Ecuador in 2022 as part of the joint MARA-WFP Global SSTC Initiative. WFP’s Global Field Pilot Initiative on SSTC in Ecuador focused on strengthening national institutions and programmes, including social protection programmes, that aimed to reduce food insecurity and malnutrition in Ecuador as well as sustainably increase income and improve productivity of smallholder farmers, especially women, in targeted areas.

The Factsheet provides an overview of the SSTC Country Project in the Republic of Congo in 2022 as part of the joint MARA-WFP Global SSTC Initiative. WFP’s Global Field Pilot Initiative on SSTC in the Republic of Congo focused on strengthening the capacity of smallholder farmers to supply cassava derived products to local markets in Republic of Congo.
Kenya at a glance – South-South and Triangular Cooperation Country Project
The Factsheet provides an overview of the SSTC Country Project in Kenya in 2022 as part of the joint MARA-WFP Global SSTC Initiative. WFP’s Global Field Pilot Initiative on SSTC in Kenya focused on strengthening post-harvest loss management practices and technologies through a food system approach and exploring opportunities to link smallholder produce to new markets for scaling up.
